Study Site: Ebenat District, Amhara region, Ethiopia.
Ebenat District in the Amhara region of Ethiopia is prone to droughts and has been the government's focus for incorporating climate-adaptive strategies. The district comprises 29 food-insecure rural kebeles, all of whom are beneficiaries of the Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP). This research focuses on assessing the adaptive strategies used by the Kebeles and barriers to adopting recommended strategies.
This research will identify the available adaptive strategies and determinant factors for implementing them so that policymakers and local farmers can use the information to revise the existing approach and practice accordingly.
Main Questions
